The Desktop Scheduling System is an application within FxMedSupport that helps patients book appointments on specific dates and times with a particular provider.

Here you can add multiple Scheduler Forms and configure each one differently. By clicking the "Add" button, you can create a new scheduler and configure various options as needed.

1. Name: Use this field to enter the name of the scheduler.

2. Select Primary Color: This option allows you to choose the primary color for your Scheduler Form. This color will be applied to various elements, such as the slot buttons.

3. Enable Round Robin: Suppose this option is enabled and multiple providers are selected. In that case, appointments will be booked in a round-robin fashion: the first appointment goes to the first provider, the second appointment to the second provider, and so on, with the cycle repeating. Patients do not select the provider when booking an appointment. If the Round Robin option is turned off, patients must choose a provider when scheduling an appointment.

4. Attach Patients: This option determines whether a patient should be attached to the appointment when it is booked.

5. Appointment Status: Indicates the initial status of the appointment when it is first booked.

6. Redirect URL: Specifies the URL to which the patient will be redirected after booking the appointment. This typically directs them to the provider's link.

7. Select Popup Form: Choose a form to be used as a popup. This should be selected from the Mobile Form Builder.

  • With the Form Builder, you can create dynamic forms that allow patients to provide their information for creating a patient record in Cerbo. These forms can include basic fields such as First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Date of Birth, Gender, etc. For basic information forms, the form type must be set to "Portal Scheduler."

  • You can also create multiple basic forms and        associate them with the portal form. This means that these forms will be triggered after the patient submits the initial portal scheduler form.
  • When a patient enters their information while booking an appointment, a Cerbo document will be created, and all the information will be populated into this document.
8. Popup Form For
Defines the behavior of new patients registering while booking an appointment. You can select one of the following options:
    1. Capture Card Only
Capture only the patient’s to add card information.

    2. Capture Appointment Payment
      Capture payment for the appointment.

    3. None
      No additional form is required.

9. Payment Type

Specifies the name of the payment gateway. Depending on your integration, this could be Square, Authorize.net, or another provider.

Scheduler Booking Page

When you load a specific portal scheduler using the provided iframe link, it displays a page for booking an appointment. If round robin is disabled, the patient will need to select a provider; if round robin is enabled, the provider will already be selected for the patient.

After selecting the provider, the patient will choose the appointment type, and then select the appointment date and available time slot.

Next, the system will prompt the patient to enter their email address and date of birth. If the patient is found in Cerbo, the appointment will be booked, and the patient will be redirected to the specified URL.

If the patient is not found in Cerbo, a Portal Scheduler Form will appear, asking the patient to enter their basic information. After completing this form, all associated forms will be triggered sequentially, requiring the patient to provide additional information. Once all required information is submitted, the appointment will be created, and the documents will be uploaded to Cerbo.
