This guide will walk you through the process of updating your email address in SendGrid and verifying the new address in the app.

Step 1: Verify Your Current Email


  1. When opening the app, you will see if your current email address is verified. 
  2. If the email is verified, you should see a green checkmark next to it, as shown in the below image.

Step 2: Update Your Email Address


  1. To change your email address, simply update to the new email address you want to use.
  2. Once you click on submit, you should receive a verification email at that address.
  3. Check your inbox for the verification email.


Please note: There's no need to press the 'Resend' button after clicking 'Save Settings.' The verification email will be sent automatically. If you click 'Resend,' it will send another email, and you may end up with multiple emails in your inbox. If you use the link from an older email, it won't work and you'll get an error. Be sure to use the most recent email from SendGrid to verify your account.

Step 3: Copy the Verification Link


  1. In the verification email, right-click on the verification button and select “Copy Link Address.”
  2. Copy this link to your clipboard.

Step 4: Complete the Email Change in the App



  1. Return to the app and paste the copied verification link into “Sendgrid Verification URL"
  2. Once saved, your new email address should be verified.

Step 5: Refresh and Confirm

  1. If the new email address does not immediately show as verified, simply refresh the app and you should see the new email address listed as verified.

Note: If you do not receive the verification email, ensure that the email address is entered correctly and that there are no issues with your email provider's inbox or spam filters.
