🧠 Overview

The FxMedSupport MindBody Integration offers a bidirectional sync between MindBody and the Cerbo EHR scheduling system. This enables practices to use MindBody’s intuitive interface while keeping their Cerbo schedule fully up-to-date—and vice versa.

⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup Guide 1. ✅ Prerequisites
  • A MindBody account must be created and fully set up.

  • You will need a MindBody Site ID, and a Staff Username/Password with Owner-level credentials.

🔐 Best Practice: Create a dedicated MindBody user solely for this integration to avoid disruptions from password resets.

2. 🔧 Initial Setup with FxMedSupport
  • Contact FxMedSupport to initiate the integration.

  • Open the Cerbo MindBody application and go to the Settings tab.

Inside the Settings Tab:
  • Enable MindBody ➝ Cerbo sync

  • Enable Cerbo ➝ MindBody sync (if bidirectional syncing is desired)

  • Enter the following:

    • MindBody Site ID

    • Staff Username

    • Password

3. 🌍 Multi-location Practices
  • If applicable, select your specific location from the dropdown inside the Settings tab.

4. 🔄 Syncing Appointment Types
  • Go to the Appointment Sync section

  • Click “Sync Appointment Types”

This will:

  • Pull MindBody appointment types into the left column

  • Pull Cerbo appointment types into the right column

🔁 You can match all appointment types to one universal type or configure individually.

5. 🗂️ MindBody Resource Mapping Options

Within the integration, you can:

  • Map Programs and Resources in MindBody

  • Use MindBody Rooms

  • Connect MindBody Users

  • Sync appointment resources to rooms or staff in MindBody

6. 🏷️ Memberships and Tagging

If you use Membership Programs in MindBody:

  • You can automatically assign Cerbo tags to patients based on their assigned memberships

  • Tagging logic can also be handled via the FxMedSupport Automator

7. 🧩 Cerbo ➝ MindBody Mapping

When sending appointments from Cerbo into MindBody:

  • Define a default MindBody appointment name (e.g., Cerbo Schedule Block)

  • Ensure the subcategory or title reflects the true appointment name

  • Use Cerbo categories to apply a default appointment type

  • Choose mapping rules:

    • Resource ➝ Room

    • Resource ➝ Staff
